little sunshine

This is Ririn, she is the most adorable girl i ever meet. she mumbles alot; better mumbler than me! she mumbles lots of words no one ever understand. Once she found out u got a camera, she wont leave u away from sight. She is good in striking poses and expect to see the photo immediately. she will starts to grumble alittle if she couldnt see the outcome; and ya, i was being grumbled alot.. "why i cant see the photos yet???"  hahahahah 

Ririn has a best friend too, name Jan. always tolerate how Ririn treated him. both of them are like a best duo. Ririn running around and Jan always follows her behind.

fearless

this is the biggest canvas painting(3frx3ft) i ever did. which took lots of my time and patience; not to lie, there is time i really wanna gave up this painting, but i cant because canvas are expensive hahahaah. mayb i should learn how to diy it someday xD but i'm glad that i completed it, and i'm quite please with the outcome. 

anyway this was inspired by Monsopiad a Kadazandusun headhunter in Sabah. he is famous for being a fearless warrior, protect his village in dangers. but he was carried away by his glorious moments, he started to pick up deadly battles with innocent villagers, thus villagers get scared of him and leave them no choice but to get rid of him, he past away at the end. despite all that. everybody still respect him for his heroic and fearless spirit. 

As for my painting  and i draw a female villager instead a man to add softness for balancing. i want to portray strong, tough yet calm and grace at the same time with the feather headdress and the flow of her hair. in conclusion i believe in life, we need to live with grace yet stabilized with firmness to survive.

black dog

this drawing was inspired by an awareness video about depression, its an interesting video i would say. i like how they portray it with a black dog.

have u ever wonder what kind of black dog inside you? mine is a medium sized one if you ask me. Black Basset Hound mayb? she is a patience dog, but she required to be left alone once awhile and avoid very noisy n crowded place, as she likes to sleep. food always makes her happy. Since she has short legs and long heavy body,which makes her move alitle slow and cant stay long in water,  that might explain why i like to walk around or go for a swim to get my head out off things. hahah

2014 is around the corner, may the black dog within us be more obedient, behave, harmless and maybe more cuddly :)

This is my "The Conjuring" fanart. just so u know, i'm not really a fan of horror thriller movie, but if i do, it has to be "artistically attractive" for my liking or based on true story hahaha.. and "The conjuring" is a nice movie to watch. i really enjoy the movie, especially the mood and the setting. this movie applied strong heart warming family value and of cause the love between husband and wife; makes me enjoy the movie even more and get all teary at the end :')

Dye

I think its been awhile i last drawn wide eyed girl, who ppl thinks she is scary. hahaa. Is not that i enjoy paint about "blood" but is i want to overcome my mild fear of blood. i will get all shaky especially i see dripping bloods, even red paint on my hands drive me crazy. how could i fear of blood as its all in our body and keeping us alive.

little lamb

since i was a kid, i always dream myself wearing a painting apron, an artist beret on my head. Like an oh-so great artist wannabe; painting on the canvas on the tri stand; with all sorts colors of paints and brushes around me, messy as can be.  

Finally i made a little tiny part of my childhood dreams come true - paint on a canvas; i call it little because i paint without the beret or the apron or the stand and obviously i dont fell like an oh-so- great artist, hahaha. i really enjoy painting the face and the hair, is like helping someone applying make up haha. but i still cant get her lips right.

Just yesterday i visited one painting shop in the nearby mall. which they sell paintings painted by mostly hong kong or china artist. The smell of the place reminds me of my childhood art teacher's place. As the shop located in a shopping mall not surprise most of the paintings are scenery or pots of flowers (i realize everybody loves pots of flowers painting as house decorations and older Chinese generations loves horses, running horses to be exact, to bring luck in the house, Tiger painting are ppl's fav as well, but since chinese believes tiger are much powerful animal, thus they affect the luck, good or bad easily. so they cant simply hang around the house; same goes to tiger statues or decorations.. and i think my dad love buffaloes paintings, he always ask me why not i paint buffaloes lol)  

Nevertheless there are some of the paintings in the shop do amazed me, especially those Buddha paintings, they even springled glitters all over the painting. What to do, i'm always attracted to Sparkly stuffs hahaaha

only the green grass i could tell 

Soft pastel is my all time favorite. i love color pencils and water color as well. This was done with soft-pastels and colour pencils. Its been awhile i do an actual traditional artwork as wacom is so much convenient, no need clean up and endless undo hohoho   

but cant deny, traditional artworks are much fun to do and hopefully i can try oil painting.

Through my window
