"you have changed" pt1

its been awhile seen i last updated my blog; i was busy with stuffs while listening to podcast (if there is actually someone care to know that is. hahaha)

random topic been floating around my head for awhile. maybe it is not blog-worthy but at least its something i can occupied my blog hahaha :

i used to be a non coffee drinker. because coffee gives me headache and i will be extra sleepy later. but i do like ice blended or frappacino once awhile. ( for the whipped cream of cause) 

but since after i work in a cafe 1 and half  years ago. at first i was just helping out and eventually i learn to brew coffee thus i need to taste the coffee shots (learn to differentiate good n badly brewed coffee) 

for the first few weeks was a disaster for me. i got bad headache after a cup .. it was so bad i would just sleep during my days off... so i was a "barista-who-dont-drink-coffee" but slowly my body starting to tolerate coffee; without having big stupid headache..and in fact starting to enjoy drinking coffee.. 

at this point people around me starting to be surprise;  "since when you drink coffee??" they asked. this kinda caught me off guard... thinking.. "oh my god.. i've changed.." 

but slowly i realize that i really need my "coffee fix" everyday, i get a big headache whenever i don't have my coffee before evening (how ironic ) ; one time i even vomited  n stay in bed towards the day and im not being dramatic here.(how i know it is because i skipped my coffee u asked? because i already recognize how was the discomfort and the ache was like ) 

now, whenever i got out.. i would excuse myself no matter what , to find a nearest cafe to get my coffee; i would make sure my home have coffee stock up:  i dont want coffee, but i need coffee

yes,  really take my coffee break that seriously.

easel

this start happen since a year ago when i pass by one boutique which is in the building i usually go. This boutique have not just one but around 5 easel for their promotion stand placing around the building. i will stare at the easel whenever i pass by and i have this urge to steal it because they are just soo beautifulllll.. (but i couldnt. cctv are everywhere haahah ) 

anyways, one day i went to this boutique for some window shopping and i found out not just 1 but 5 easels kept inside the store, how i found out? i just saw them haahah. for me of cuz i gone gaga.. after asking the shop keeper,  i found out those easels was usually from an art gallery/ studio and given to the shop. i have high hopes for having them as now i tot they might need it anymore(instead of keepin then in the store..they deserve better!! ). i was so exited and ask the shopkeeper whether they can sell me in a cheaper price. but turns out they are not selling them.. which is quite a bummer.

 i'm not sure was it me or is a trend now for shop now using easel as their promotion/ menu stand. because apparently i see easels everywhere.. not just any ordinary easle. but those good quality fancy ones!! thus is not cheappp.. which drive me nutss . 

but its okay. i have my own DIY one.. is from an old wooden bed frame hahahaa..

christmas project!

i like to collect garbage (wait , they are not garbage they are usable stuffs) hahaha; this month i finally able to fully utilized my "power and ability" to use them to create Christmas decoration. save money , reduce rubbish and whole lots of fun!! so why not? :D (and all of them are recyclable.. so they can be thrown in recycling bin after Christmas.. but maybe i will keep some of them haah) 

for me crafting is always about using things around us. especially those that unused and left idle; everything deserves their time to shine and not end up in the rubbish bin too soon!! so since before i always hesitate to buy lots of new art materials for my crafts but i do invest money on my art tools and my bestfriend is the white school glue!! its always in handy in most of my craftwork.

This is Ririn, she is the most adorable girl i ever meet. she mumbles alot; better mumbler than me! she mumbles lots of words no one ever understand. Once she found out u got a camera, she wont leave u away from sight. She is good in striking poses and expect to see the photo immediately. she will starts to grumble alittle if she couldnt see the outcome; and ya, i was being grumbled alot.. "why i cant see the photos yet???"  hahahahah 

Ririn has a best friend too, name Jan. always tolerate how Ririn treated him. both of them are like a best duo. Ririn running around and Jan always follows her behind.

"do not worry baby.."

its been quite a long time ago since i actually using water colors. usually i'm comfortable using water colours for scenery paintings. plants and trees.. since i got my water colors back from my sister for after so long (yay!)  i should use try water colors again by painting portraits. 

as i was used to acrylic now.. to be frank i never felt so overwhelming for a colour medium. hahah . few trials and few tutorial videos. i realize my mistakes was i didnt plan well before i paint.. as acrylic painting can be covered up by another layers of paint. so i dont worry that much. but as for water colour.. hah! the more u cover the more mistake u will make hahaaah. and another thing is i always forget to wait for the water colours to dry before proceed to the next layers 

anyway that's the "satisfying" portrait to date. for now i really wanna master well the white areas.

wall painting!

This is my latest wall painting i did last week for a Chinese restaurant! its quite an achievement as the owner of the restaurant is someone whom i dont know, if u know me, i'm afraid of strangers hahaha. my mom even ask me to think twice to go as the restaurant was located somewhere i'm not familiar with. 

but hey, i should start somewhere rite? i cant just stay in my comfort zone. so i went for it anyway. its actually something when u meet someone who actually appreciated your artwork. i met her one that day, and she is nice hahah.  

The owner want something simple yet attractive and she want a tree! haha. so i came up a garden-y concept for her with bright colors to make the place homey too. i pull my horses as i might turn it into a kindergarten haahah. 

this is some small little things i painted . they focus more on chicken dishes; that explain the little chickens running around. 

my favorite part will be the wishing tree.. customers can stick comments, wishes or even photograph on the tree! which means as times goes by. the tree will grow more leaves! 

this was a great and fun experience! i was honored and very grateful to have this opportunity. hope there's more walls for me to conquer haahahahah

night walk

this is daidai, sometimes i wonder if she ever knows she is a dog hahaha. i remember the first time seeing her interacting with other dogs (pet saloon/hotel), my feeling was like seeing own daughter entering kindergarten at frist day of school. apprently she dont know how to interact well hahaah. End up sleeping in the corner 

she likes her night walk so much as much i like to grab to snap photos of her and i can do some practice on taking night photos at the same time; as i'm bad / hate/ not comfortable to take night photos hahahah. For me night light is either too dark or too harsh and i'm still not familiar with the camera setting for nite shot.

happy 4th year aniversary!!

This is yogurt :3  2nd weekend of May marks down the 4th year of being one part of our family. ( sorry i forgot the exact date T_T) She was 3months old by then. and now she turns into a big fat meat loaf. 

Frankly speaking our family loves more compared to our other two dog; Sandal and Sneakers. (shhhhhh) Yoyo is very gentle and quiet. She seldom make any noise or cry when she first came to our house, and we seldom tie her up since she is a pup. But we have to tie her later as she is hard to be potty trained -__-

The most remarkable things she did is helping Sandal took care of her puppies. Without even being pregnant, she can produce her own milk to feed 8 puppies as Sandal cant produce enough milk to feed. Sandal as the older dog, Yoyo always being bullied by her but seldom fight back.

She likes to sleep under the sun during the day and sleep near the house door at night. She always give joy to the family.

i got the crafty bugs lately, been making some miniature animals and cartoons characters with paper clays :3 i love paper clay, i think my skill of making them are improve and they are stronger :D all of them have hook on their head so they can be hanged as key-chains, earing and such.  
 
well i have this dilemma since years ago; i always found some cute miniature figure from toys or anywhere and as i used to be a key chain collector when i was little,  i always have the urge to make them as my key-chain or ornaments. its hard to use plastic little figure or toy to become as ornaments. if u get what i mean. hahahahaa

little lamb

since i was a kid, i always dream myself wearing a painting apron, an artist beret on my head. Like an oh-so great artist wannabe; painting on the canvas on the tri stand; with all sorts colors of paints and brushes around me, messy as can be.  

Finally i made a little tiny part of my childhood dreams come true - paint on a canvas; i call it little because i paint without the beret or the apron or the stand and obviously i dont fell like an oh-so- great artist, hahaha. i really enjoy painting the face and the hair, is like helping someone applying make up haha. but i still cant get her lips right.

Just yesterday i visited one painting shop in the nearby mall. which they sell paintings painted by mostly hong kong or china artist. The smell of the place reminds me of my childhood art teacher's place. As the shop located in a shopping mall not surprise most of the paintings are scenery or pots of flowers (i realize everybody loves pots of flowers painting as house decorations and older Chinese generations loves horses, running horses to be exact, to bring luck in the house, Tiger painting are ppl's fav as well, but since chinese believes tiger are much powerful animal, thus they affect the luck, good or bad easily. so they cant simply hang around the house; same goes to tiger statues or decorations.. and i think my dad love buffaloes paintings, he always ask me why not i paint buffaloes lol)  

Nevertheless there are some of the paintings in the shop do amazed me, especially those Buddha paintings, they even springled glitters all over the painting. What to do, i'm always attracted to Sparkly stuffs hahaaha

Lets go back in time,during semester 3 clay modelling assignment aka my most favorite and enjoying assignment of them all. or mayb i just have nothing much to blog about these days hahaha. 

 This is mine (here!) incase u wonder hows mine looks like. hahaha.

This is my friend's statue, since the assignment doesn't required to paint the statue, so hers was left hers unpainted. is been for years now, and i think this little fella here cant be left unpainted! since is an amazing piece. and i really want to paint really really bad~~ so after asking her permission, i did some touch up on the cracks, clear the dust and remodel some of the part and of cause paint the statue! hahahah

so ..behold!!  the rebirth of the boy! hahaahaha

Black rain

So fast its already in the month of February and i haven't post anything yet since the last year of December i guess.. 2012 is a great year for me i think; The most interesting year so far, like a journey in a roller coaster; up and down; happy times sad times ; very assured at a minute, being very doubtful at the next.
 
miserable yet magical, maybe that's what being 22 is all about.

nevertheless i changed. espcially my personality, i think i'm getting dull and boring -_-

i'm quite ashamed myself for all ghibli amazing movies, i just watched "spirited away" only.. and its when i was 10 years old.. sound pathetic huh. but the movies still vivid in my mind until now, because i consider that movie is an scary movie. haahahahaha

 

so yea, i target to watch all ghibli movies. and i already watch 6 of the movies *applause* 

and now i understand why ppl loves totoro hahahahahaah and i'm totally in love with kiki and her cat :3

This photo was taken few years ago, and of course by me. Seriously this dog is the best model i ever meet lol. i remember the first day we meet. i hold my camera, she start to wag her tail and started to strike her pose. Thanks to her, i enjoy snapping photos of animals..hahaha..

animals are the best living creatures in earth, especially dogs. there are lots of values we can learn from a dog. They might not talk but by the stare of the eyes, the paw on your lap, cant deny they can be a very good friend or company.

dear deer.

i'm a expressive person, especially when i'm happy and angry/annoyed but sometimes i just keep things in. Usually people might think i dont talk much about what i feel as i usually the listener or talk about general topics.Basically I love to spill out everything what from my mind , is like a a voice(many of them) inside me try to jumps out and want to meet the world. But somehow tat little voice doesnt know the way out, because i am not good in speech.. seriously lol. so now matter how i try to tell others, people dont really get what i mean, at the end i dont feel "satisfied" and i feel so stupid. hahah.

There is times i am "fluent" in talking. That is when i am in a the mood, nothing holding back in. But usually i will ended up feeling guilty or being to "exposed" and worried did i offended anyone.

occasionally i blog about them but i am lazy and i took a very loooong time to write a post until i feel satisfied. (for example today, because i am free and the mood is there)

The best feeling is when i bump on to quotes or "Statement" or lyrics that hit me, and i will go "U SPEAKS FOR ME!" i will dance to joy (at least my upper half of the body is) i will jot them down, i had a collection previously, but they went bye bye (dont ask me, is a sad case T__T ) Anyway, i admire people who knows how to use and play around with words, not just bombastic or twisted words but simple words to describe something. somehow not straightforawd nor hidden around the bushes,, it just "click" to u.

so long , fur ball

she left my dad and never come back.

In case you're wondering which cat, or u might forget. This is the little fur ball i'm talking about.

The little fur ball, who purr and meow, turn up n down just to get one's attention (esp human with food..haha!) leave after her few weeks' stay. It was more than a month ago. My dad think might be the night guard who give her a new home. I think its kinda make sense as the poor lonely guard patrol all alone at nite, or mayb little meow had find a new home for herself where she can find better left overs than my dad could ever offer?

I post any stuffs regardless when they happen and i dont feel "out-dated". Just depends whether i have the mood to talk about it or not..that's my style i guess :P

new place

After attending my convocation at TARC, we started to get busy for my new hostel thingy, (check-in, shift some stuffs of mine to my new "home". Booked a single room intially, but due to some problemo..they forgot to reserve a room for me.. and now single room was fully booked. so i have to stay in a twin room. I will be staying a house with china girls ( one korean girl moved out) and share with a girl from China.. i didnt see this coming as i was mentally prepared for a single room.. i was about to faint or scream (as if i possibly could..haha)

i was soooo down, worries and "what-ifs" keep hitting my head. Dad just pat me and say everything will be just fine. if things didnt turn out well.. go CHANGE ANOTHER ROOM -_-"

When i start staying here, you coudnt imagine how down i was. Mayb i was home sick and "TARC hostel sick".. i think my emo-ness was soo obvious until it really shows in my face or like holding a sign saying "I'M SAD.. I WANNA GO HOME" .. my parents and relatives phone me few times daily just to make sure whether i'm ok and whether get used to the new environment.

Currently staying with 5 china girls and i'm the only local.Ppl i see around the condo are foreigners around the world, which makes me think i'm a foreigners myself(there is one pakistan girl staying the same block with me offers me help if i need any..weird, i know)

Now i can swim or hit to the gym whenever i want and watch tele (no astro) or standing at the balcony looking the stars or just being busy body, watching ppl walking at he poolside when my broadband was down.. chit chatting with my housemate and hope to polished my "oh so good mandrin" one day .. guess living here isnt that bad :/

My roomate's side of the room.. quite a nice girl, we get along just fine. she is 2 years my junior. did i meantion she LOVES TAYLOR SWIFT songs too!!!!!!She switch off the air cond every morning because she knows i'm shivering :)

I was quite grateful and lucky, blessed with clean friendly housemates. I fit in quite fast, although sometimes i dont really understand what they are talking about.

I consider myself lucky, as i have a very very very clean toilet, kitchen to use (thanks to my housemate, who will knock at one's door and nag if either one of us dont keep the place clean) , but she is a quite friendly person though :)

Today was my 1st week anniversary staying here, and i SURVIVE. Dad was right, everything did goes a-o-kay.

Things didnt really go what i've expected, but it is better than what i've expected.

the problem i have now is.. MY BROADBAND IS A SNAIL (speed light during the dawn).. i was born to face broadband problem.. yeah -_-v
